Same Kind of Different as Me

This was one of our recent book club picks - chosen by my friend, Jodi. It's the kind of book that makes you want to stand up and start the slow clap when you are finished. An excellent read that is written from two different points of view - one an über rich art dealer, the other an uneducated homeless man. Who knew the two would become friends, even equals, fighting for understanding in a seeming hopeless situation? It's a bonus that the book is a true story and set in Texas. It's always interesting to read about places that you've been and people about whom you've heard. Grab a box of tissue, a bowl of popcorn, and finish this easy (albeit not easy on the heart) read in a cold winter's weekend!

When you are finished with the book (not before...we don't want anything to be spoiled!), check out the website http://www.samekindofdifferentasme.com/
