The Rule of Four

A book review from Brodie's dad, Duane.

THE RULE OF FOUR by Ian Caldwell and Dustin Thomason

For those that enjoyed The Divinci Code this book should be an enjoyable read. Princeton University and college life are the backdrop for a story about a small group of people intent on solving the mysteries of a 500 year old book titled Hypnerotomachia Poliphili. Tom Sullivan and Paul Harris are seniors and roommates at Princeton and are on a quest to solve the riddles of the Hypnerotomachia. For Tom, it will vindicate his father and fulfill his father's dream. For Paul, it is not just the basis for his senior thesis but his obsession. The search for answers in the book lead Tom to find answers outside the book, answers to the riddles in his own life As in the Divinci Code, fact and fiction are intermingled and woven into a story of intrigue, deception, betrayal, and murder. Easy read and entertaining.
